Interview with Eva Gordon by Aoife Marie Sheridan

Question: What have you published recently? Apocalyptic Moon, After the Bane Book 1. Lycan Gladiator Book 1 of the Wolf Maiden Saga will be released by Corvallis Press on August 20, 2013.  Book 2 in the After the Bane books is ready for my editor at The Wild Rose Press.

Question: How, and when, did you decide to become a writer? While teaching Biology and realizing how much fun it was to tell my students fictional stories about my life.

Question: Where can we find your published writing? For now on Kindle, but after May 10th it will be available in all formats.

Question: What is a typical day like for you as a writer? Walk the dog, send off the hubby to work and then after my first cup of coffee I go at it.

Question: What are your favorite characters that you have created? Tell us about them. I love all my characters in all my novels, so let me tell you why I like Dirk and Dora from my recent release, Apocalyptic Moon. Dirk is a hot, redhaired bigger than life alpha werewolf. He is a lone wolf with a tormented past. Dora is a brilliant doctor who doesn't know she is a witch. She is committed to rescuing her brother and niece. Together they have to fight mad scientists, hordes of zombies and an evil pack of werewolves. What's not to love, especially when and alpha werewolf  must never take a witch as a mate.

Question: do you find you “mentally edit” other writers’ works as you read them? Does doing this help you or bother you? I try not to, if I do I'm not into the story. I read to relax, never to edit.

Question: What music do you listen to, while writing? Depends on the story. From heavy metal to classical music. I always tune into Spotify or Pandora.

Question: What do you eat while writing? I'm a health nut so mostly nutrient rich foods like fruits or nuts. But way too much coffee.

Five for Fun:

What is your favourite non-alcoholic drink?  Coffee

What is your favourite cartoon character? Bugs Bunny, because that's me.

What is your favourite movie of all time? So many. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, LadyHawk, and all the futue movies made from my novels.

What do you like to do for fun or just to relax? I like working with raptors (birds of prey), hiking, bird watching, and eco-travel.

Question: Where can we find you on the web?
